New Orleans and Santa Rosa Island

A little while back I got an email from a guy in Santa Rosa Island, Florida- who had seen the images on the site. After the hurricanes, there was little left of places where I stayed while traveling through the Island. He said the the beaches, the motels, the bars.... all devastated by the rain and wind. So I went back and took a look at the film I had, scanned some more and put it up on the site. Check the Santa Rosa Island section for updates and new images. A few years back I took a train from Delaware to New Orleans, (which was a great adventure by itself.. ) we stayed for a few days, picked up a car and proceeded to get lost. We ended up on Santa Rosa Island, and a few days later we were still there. Just couldn't bring myself to leave the warm beaches, key lime pie and cold margaritas...
